A Call to Bring the Settlers Home to Israel

Non-Jewish Support

We appreciate requests from non-Jews to support Brit Tzedek's CALL TO BRING THE SETTLERS HOME TO ISRAEL.

Brit Tzedek v'Shalom focuses our work on mobilizing support within the American Jewish community for a negotiated settlement of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. We do this in recognition of the important political role played by American Jews in affecting U.S. foreign policy toward Israel and to counter the perception that the American Jewish community is monolithic in support of the policies of Prime Minister Sharon and his Likud Party.

We have therefore framed the Call as being on behalf of American Jews and are gathering signatures on the Call only from American Jews at this time.

There are many ways in which non-Jewish allies can be supportive of this campaign:

  1. Ask your Jewish friends to sign the petition online. For your convenience we've created a sample e-mail letter which you can circulate click here. You can also tell your friends go to http://bringthemhome.btvshalom.org/
  2. Distribute the petition to as many Jews as possible through email or hard copy and support their efforts to recruit other signers. (You can download printable petitions by clicking here or request a paper copy of the petition by writing to us at info@btvshalom.org.)
  3. Send us a financial contribution towards our outreach efforts to publicize the Call through ads in national and local newspapers by clicking on http://bringthemhome.btvshalom.org/contribute.htm
